GEOGRAPHY
Nepal, a sovereign independent kingdom, is bounded on the north by the Tibetan Autonomous Region of the Peoples Republic of China, the east south and west by India.The length of the Kingdom is 885 km east west and its breadth varies 145-241 km north south .The country can be divide into three main geographical region.
Himalayan Region: The altitude of this region ranges between 4,877 m 8848m .It includes eight of the 14 highest summits in the word which exceed altitude of 8000 m including Everest, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and others.
Mountain Regions: This region accounts for about 64 percent of the total land area, It is formed by the Mhabharat range that soars up to 4877 m and the lower Churia range.
Terai Region: The low land Terai occupies about 17 percent of the total land area of the country.
PEOPLE
Nepal has a population of more then 22 million people made of different races and ethnic groups living in different regions, with diverse culture, language and dialects.The Gurung and Magers live mainly in the west .The Rais, Limbus and Sunars inhabit the slops and valleys of the capital of the eastern mid hills. The Sherpas live in the Himalayan region. The Newar constitute an important ethnic group of the capital valley-Kathmandu. There are Tharus ,Yadavas Satar, Rajvanshis, and Dhimals in the Terai region.The Bhamans , Chetris and Thakuries are generally spread over all parts of the Kingdom.
ENTRY PROCEDURES
A visa is required to enter Nepal except for Indian national .One can get a visa at the Royal Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or at the airport upon arrival.

Thanks to Nepalese extensive and effective Parks and Reserves system, the country has managed to preserve more endangered species of flora and fauna than any other area in Asia. Nepal has nine national parks and three-wildlife reserve, which include area in the Heights Mountains in the world as well as subtropical lowlands of the plains.
